Not everyone has a term to give, let alone two years. A workshop is the honest version of the short format: one subject, no filler, finished by Sunday evening.
Each workshop covers its topic start to finish — the rulings, the evidences, and what they mean in Australia — rather than a taster that sends you away hungry.
Small enough that you can put your hand up. The question sessions routinely run past their slot, and nobody hurries them.
Every attendee leaves with the printed notes and the references, so what you learned on the weekend survives the following Monday.

What the weekend looks like.
For a two-day workshop. One-day workshops run the same shape, once. Breaks for ṣalāh and lunch are built in; lunch is provided on both days.
