Women’s Fiqh, Term 4: navigating modern life with knowledge and confidence
The questions Muslim women actually ask, answered with the evidence, the reasons scholars differ, and how each ruling applies to the life you live today. Part of the Da‘iyāt & Murabbiyāt Programme, and open to new students this term.
What we will cover.
Every Tuesday from 13 October, 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. Six topics, chosen from the questions sisters bring to us most.
Muslim women who want clear, evidence-based answers for work, university, family and community life. Current students continue; new students start here, with no earlier years needed.
“Is it halal or haram?” is only the first question. We also ask where the ruling comes from, why scholars differ, and how it applies to real situations.

Sheikh Dr Mohammad Alabdulkarim
Founder of Shurayh College and a former judge in Saudi Arabia, with a PhD from Saudi Arabia and a Master’s in Commonwealth law from Australia. He teaches the rulings with their evidence, and applies them to life here.

No. This term is open to current and new students. You do not need to have completed the previous years of the Da‘iyāt & Murabbiyāt Programme to join.
Sisters only. Women of any age and background who want to understand the rulings that shape their daily life.
No. Classes are taught in English, and every Arabic term is explained as it comes up.
$400 for the whole term, paid once when you enrol, by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Stripe.
